THE GREAT OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE

The Great Outdoor Experience is a 3-piece led by singer and guitarist, Phil Ram. Adam Bickerton plays bass and James Spencer Moulson hits and kicks the hell out of the drums. Ram spent many of his formative musical years to-ing and fro-ing between the US and the UK and playing with a wide variety of bands and musicians. In 1980 he joined a short-lived incarnation of punk band The Vibrators and scored a Top 40 hit with Disco in Moscow, a song he co-wrote. After the Vibrators split, among other projects, he joined a 14-piece Salsa band and toured Germany before returning to the UK where he finally formed The Great Outdoor Experience in 2001.

Since then TGOE have toured Europe and the UK, played festivals and gigged regularly in the London area. They have a self-released album, Time To Go Wild to their name, and a new CD EP, released in September 2009, called Don't Just Do Something...Sit There.
